Privacy Policy
Last updated: November 3, 2026
This policy explains what information Atomic Pom Labs (“APL”, “we”) collects through atomicpomlabs.ca, why we collect it and what you can do about it. We’re a Canadian business, so we handle personal information under Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA). If you have a question about any of this, email hello@atomicpomlabs.com.
What we collect
We only collect what you give us and what our analytics tools record when you browse. If you book a discovery call, we get the details you put in the booking form, like your name, email and anything you tell us about your project. If you sign up for our newsletter or The Dispatch, we get your email address. If you email us, we get your email and whatever’s in the message.
When you browse the site, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity record things like the pages you visit, how long you stay, the device and browser you use, your approximate location, and how you click and scroll. Clarity can replay those sessions so we can see where the site is confusing. Both tools use cookies to do this, and they only switch on after you accept them in the cookie banner, which runs on CookieYes. You can change your choice any time from that banner or block cookies in your browser without breaking the site. We don’t use any of this to identify you personally.
How we use it
We use your information to reply to you, run the calls you book, send the newsletters you signed up for and figure out how to make the site better. That’s it. We don’t sell your information, we don’t rent it out and we don’t share it with anyone for their own marketing.
Who else touches it
A few service providers handle data for us so the site can work. Our website is hosted by Bluehost. Bookings run through our scheduling tools, newsletters through our email provider, and analytics through Google and Microsoft. These providers can store data outside Canada, including in the United States, which means it can be subject to the laws of those countries. We only use providers that keep data secure and use it to provide their service to us. We’ll also share information if the law requires it.
How long we keep it
We keep project and booking information for as long as we’re talking or working together, plus whatever time we need for our business and tax records. Newsletter addresses stay on the list until you unsubscribe, and every email has an unsubscribe link. Analytics data is kept according to Google’s and Microsoft’s retention settings.
Your choices
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. You can also withdraw your consent to us using it at any time. Just email hello@atomicpomlabs.com and we’ll take care of it. If you’re not happy with how we handled something, you can also contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
Comments are turned off on this site, so we don’t collect anything through blog posts. If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top of this page.
